The Navigable Website Analysis Engine was also designed to support repeated analysis.
After website information changed, a user could request another crawl. The updated pages, links, and measurable conditions could then be processed and the modeled scores recalculated.
This extended the idea beyond a static website report.
Transparency made the model inspectable. Recrawling and rescoring made it repeatable.
A website could change, the modeled environment could be rebuilt, and the resulting measurements could be compared with the earlier state.
That inspect-and-rescore methodology helped establish a technical foundation for the broader testing approaches that Market Brew would develop over time.
The modern platform extends those ideas considerably, but the underlying principle was already present: search analysis could function as an environment that changes as the website changes.

The original patent has since appeared in later patent filings across search, enterprise technology, content management, website platforms, and SEO software.
The citation record associated with the patent includes organizations such as Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, IBM, Baidu, BrightEdge, and Wix. It has been called “one of the most cited SEO patents" (yes, even by Google)!
Those later filings cover a range of adjacent technological problems.
For example, the patent has appeared in work involving web crawling, document and content representation, website structure, content management, and SEO-oriented website systems.
Patent citations should not be interpreted as endorsements of Market Brew or its technology. They do, however, show that the Navigable Website Analysis Engine became part of the prior-art record considered in later work across several areas of search and web technology.
